It’s been a while. There’s been too much distraction, too much excuses. But at least there is one photo that I deem worthwhile to post.
waiting for the glorious first light,
the cool morning breeze freshen,
the burst of colours enveloping,
kaleidoscope of happiness.
Spent a couple of hours in New Brighton, Christchurch on Friday. Brought along my Sony Nex 5n with the kit lens 18-55mm. Enjoy!..
Due to bad weather early yesterday morning and also evening, I didn’t managed to witness the supermoon. But, today just as I was dropping my wife off near her work place, I saw this incredible moonset.
As darkness descends,
a remembrance of light lingers,
a quiet stillness, when the heart aches,
who will listen?
I have not celebrated new year for almost 13 years. The first and the last new year celebration I attended was 31st Dec 1999. Never really like the crowds, the chaos and such. Feels a bit claustrophobic with all the throngs of people pushing me here and there. To me the coming of 1st January is just like any other day. Pretty insignificant in the greater scheme of things. There is no perceivable difference between 31st Dec with 1st of Jan.
For 3 years consecutively the New Year in Christchurch were cloudy. But this year, the sky pretty much clears up. This is my fireworks.
